Over the course of the last 3 years I’ve paid for:
7 sticky glues (Last time I successfully used up a whole one of these was when I was 9.)
Countless pens and markers
All in the interest of making a physical workbook that I was happy with and I’d want to continue to work on. However it never made any sense to me to copy stuff from my computer into a workbook. Our lecturers now have asked us to make an online blog and there is a split in the class over who likes to work online and who likes to work physically. Both options should be left up to individual, I don’t think anyone should be pushed in one direction or the other in terms of how they want to keep track of their work.
I’ve exchanged a notebook with my mobile and the application ‘evernote’ which allows me to upload anything I want to a public folder online. This folder is auto updated from anywhere in the world and it allows me to write whatever I want, wherever I am. My workbook is now this blog, here I will catalogue some stuff from my mobile updates, as well all the research I do with regards my projects.
